Boxercise at Empire Gym is a fitness class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups.
Whilst improving stamina, strengthening muscles and raising core strength, boxing training techniques also increase mental agility, improve hand- eye coordination, release your aggression, focus energy and concentration and build confidence.

A 45 minute High Intensity Interval Training class with Matt Weston inspired by our members who have shown such a desire and passion for a multitude of ways of training adding even more space and colour to the gym floor. By incorporating intense periods of work with short recovery segments, interval training helps you give maximum intensity while still maintaining your exercise form. The magic of high intensity interval training is that it keeps your body burning fat even after you leave the gym.
